Gold Coast Australia, Day 3 (:

October 23, 2009

MOVIEWORLDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!

Though my favourite place in the world is STILL Disneyland. Well, it IS the happiest place on the Earth afterall – the music, the colours, the magic. :) and why wouldn’t alibaba or anyone go Hong Kong with me!!!! *crys* :'(

Photobucket

Though Movie World isn’t so bad. It really pales in comparison (just size alone, lose already lor!), etc etc, I am hard to please hor? At least it beats Escape theme park hands-down anyday. Hehehe..

Photobucket

While Disneyland reminds me of my childhood. This place shows me my “not so exciting” future? :P

Photobucket

We had to walk through a shopping belt – which I really liked, before the rides and other stuff in the park. Really tested my resolve over here. Pooey, if only money fell from the sky yeah? :(

Photobucket

Favourite book of all time, Harry Potter!!!! :D there was also a Twilight shop but as much as I like the book and all, I am not a huge fan of the movie because in my imagination, Bella looked more like me. WAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Don’t bluff, I bet many of you think she is supposed to look like you too. :P

Photobucket

Halloween is coming, we need costumes!

Photobucket

Another cute cute shop… :) I bought someone’s birthday present from here!!!

Photobucket

Playing with mega cute toys we couldn’t bear to part with = heavy spending! Arghh!

Photobucket

Time for the rides~~~~

Photobucket

We are cowboys!!! ^^

Photobucket

Dripping wet after the free fall drop! WE SURVIVED!!!

Photobucket

Ermmm, I don’t know what we were doing… 0.0

Photobucket

Another ride… This was pretty cool.. I like rides with storyline and stuff to see inside. :)

Photobucket

Caught what I thought was a 3D show but turned out to be 4D with water spraying, chairs shaking and fake spiders scurrying on the ground. Very cool!!!

Photobucket

At 3.30pm, we stood by the sidewalks waiting for the usual parade drive through.

Photobucket

Lazy me had to sit down.

Photobucket
Photobucket

The star and comic feature of the day was Daffy Duck. He’s so funny the way he steals the crowd away from the more prominent and famous cartoon characters.

Photobucket

The funny carsssss, Scooby Doo and Slyvester….

Photobucket

Love love Shrek’s castle float. :) there wasn’t princess Fiona though. :(

Photobucket

I only recognised Wonder Woman. Don’t know who the rest are. Oops!

Photobucket

Sexy and dark Catwoman versus, angelic pretty Marilyn Monroe. Who do you prefer?

Photobucket

Pretty obvious what hottie Batman in his scary look BatMobile prefers. Their costumes even look alike!!! Typical male choice hur?

Photobucket

Warner Brother’s all-time favourites, Bugs Bunny and Tweety Bird!

Photobucket

Super heroesssssss straight out of the comics!

Photobucket

After the parade we rushed to catch the last screening of the Hollywood Stunt Driver show! Before the show began, cameras panned the audience and there we were!!! Our 15 seconds of fame! :D

And here it starts;

Awesomeeeee~

This was uber cool!!!!!!

EXPLOSION HIGHLIGHT!!!!
(credits to youtube!)

The action and hoo-ha was well worth the hour in the sun!

Then it was group photos with the mascots we saw…. Missed a few who didn’t really have time to entertain us. Darn!

Big smiles lovelies. :)

Photobucket

Just before leaving the park, who should I see?!? Primary school friend, FELICIA TAN!!!! We were once best friends, 9 years of no contact and suddenly we meet far far away from Singapore. I call this fate. :)

Photobucket

On the long train journey home. We were pooped and slept for the most part of the way before I woke up and had to self-entertain.

Photobucket

Had Korean dinner in the city before lugging our dirty clothes and many many shopping bags to take the ferry back home.

Photobucket

All in all, the last day made the trip most memorable. And having paid for annual passes (THEY ARE PINK!!!), it wouldn’t be long before we find ourselves back at the place where our inner child can run free. :)

I hope the photos have been entertaining. I spent hours on this entry!!! Back to the books now.

Love, Joy!
