This and that on my little red dot.

August 10, 2010

A month ago when I was home-sweet-home, the grandparents wanted to meet up with me. We decided to check out the newly opened Marina Bay Sands and sadly, it wasn’t all as hyped up as I imagined it to be. :(

Wore the new ASOS dress and even had a french pedicure to match it. Because my current favourite heels have peeky toes. :))

Forbidded the father from entering the casino because of the crazy $100 admission fee (even more expensive then the theme park!!)

Had my favourite Dim Sum for lunch at Imperial Treasure… :)

After a hearty lunch, we went to the National Museum’s 1960 Singapore exhibition to support my Aunt who is a volunteer tourguide.

Saw some other free exhibitions…

Followed by teabreak on the museum compounds.

Yet another day, the boyfriend took leave to bring me out. Only he wasn’t “the boyfriend” at that time yet… We had Billy Bomber’s one-for-one lunch promotion followed by Ben and Jerry’s ice-cream! :D

Because it was raining (but I didn’t see any Orchard Road floods?!) he decided to teach me how to play pool. Lucky the table cost $2 per round and lousy player that I am, one round took easily 3 hours. :P

On his first day at the new company, we celebrated with dinner at the much talked about Ippudo at Mandarin Gallery.

We then watched Toy Story 3 and I sort of like the strawberry-smelling villian, lots-o-huggin-bear.

One of the nights, we made a surprise visit to Starbucks to cheer on the sister of mine on night shift. She made our drinks all by herself and the manager waived the bill. :)

Another good thing about home-sweet-home is having parents who indulge in my every little whim and fancy. Like random “I want sesame paste! I want the Chinatown one.” And off we goooo~

Hahahaha, but unfortunately, I am back in Brisbane and I have to clean up after myself, feed myself, etc. Suddenly I realise how much I have been taking forgranted.
